Adding Drop-off Locations

Ridright allows you to add and manage drop-off locations as part of your program’s disposal network. Locations can be configured with facility types, accepted materials, and access rules to ensure residents are directed to valid and appropriate options.

Creating a Location

When adding a drop-off location, you can define:

  • Name and address

  • Facility type (HHW, recycling center, transfer station, etc.)

  • Service area or jurisdiction

  • Hours of operation (if applicable)

This establishes the location within your program.

Defining Accepted Materials

Each location can be configured to:

  • Accept specific materials

  • Support particular programs (paint, batteries, electronics, etc.)

  • Reflect real-world acceptance rules

This ensures materials are only routed to locations that can properly handle them.

Setting Access & Program Rules

You can define how residents interact with each location:

  • Residency requirements (e.g., city or county only)

  • Appointment or event-based access

  • Program-specific restrictions or eligibility

This helps prevent incorrect or unusable recommendations.

Linking to Disposal Guidance

Drop-off locations are directly connected to materials and disposal logic:

  • Materials are routed to appropriate facilities

  • Jurisdiction and program rules are applied automatically

  • Residents receive clear, actionable instructions

Real-Time Updates

All location updates are:

  • Applied instantly

  • Reflected across all jurisdictions and search experiences

  • Delivered consistently across all resident-facing outputs
