Adding & Editing Materials
Ridright provides a pre-configured library of 700+ materials with baseline guidance, images, and proper handling. During implementation, this library is aligned to your program and becomes your master material set.
From there, your team can refine and localize guidance to reflect how your program operates.
Starting from the Baseline
Each material includes:
Standardized name and description
Baseline disposal methods and handling guidance
Associated categories and images
This provides a complete, structured foundation from day one.
Editing Your Master Materials
Your team can customize the master material set to reflect your program:
Update descriptions and definitions
Adjust disposal methods and rules
Align materials to your bin types and collection streams
Add program-specific notes or handling instructions
These updates define how materials behave across your program by default.
Jurisdiction-Level Customization
Once your master is defined, materials can be further tailored by jurisdiction or service area.
You can:
Override disposal methods for specific locations
Map materials to different bins or collection systems
Adjust instructions based on local rules or hauler services
Add jurisdiction-specific notes or exceptions
This ensures guidance reflects real-world differences at the city or service level.
Localized Resident Experience
Based on a resident’s location, Ridright automatically:
Applies the correct jurisdiction rules
Maps materials to the appropriate bin or disposal method
Returns clear, location-specific instructions
Residents receive accurate guidance for their home or business without needing to interpret program differences.
Real-Time Updates
All material updates—at both the master and jurisdiction level—are:
Applied instantly
Reflected across all jurisdictions and integrations
Delivered consistently across all resident-facing experiences
